Our new Carob Delight is part of our newly developed raw food line.
The feel and taste are similar to chocolate. This treat actually comes from the carob seed tree.
Carob is made from the roasted and ground pulp of the carob fruit. The fruit grows on the carob tree, which originates from the Mediterranean region and the Near East.
Carob contains hardly any sodium and fat, but a high proportion of high-quality fiber. Together with the natural sugar it contains, this provides plenty of energy with relatively few calories.
This Carob Delight treat is not heated above 42% and is therefore a real raw food specialty.
