This is a slightly longer chocolate bar (30g), and it’s as close as you can get to traditional German MARZIPAN. Made from ground almonds and high-quality ingredients, it is coated in rich dark chocolate. This bar is lower in carbs, vegan, sugar-free, gluten-free, lactose-free, and both paleo and keto-friendly.
Although it is believed to have originated in Persia (present-day Iran) and to have been introduced to Europe through the Turks, there is some dispute between Hungary and Italy over its origin. Marzipan became a specialty of the Baltic Sea region of Germany.
